Accessibility Statement
Effective October 30, 2026
The standard we work toward is WCAG 2.2 at the AA level, the accessibility guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), in order that people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier can use the site as well.
What makes the site accessible?
We have:
- put a label on every form field and made error messages easy to follow;
- made layouts that work on phones and at high zoom;
- made every control reachable from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator;
- written link and button text that makes sense out of context;
- checked colors for enough contrast;
- added alt text to photos;
- used real text rather than pictures of text;
- kept headings in a logical order.
How is accessibility tested?
There are two kinds of testing: software scans every page for accessibility problems, and every page is then checked in a desktop layout and a phone layout. Both come before any update goes online.
What if something doesn’t work?
There are limits. The text that describes a photo may skip some of what it shows. Anything that stops you from using the site is a fault on our side, for us to fix.
Who do I tell?
To report a problem:
- phone: (513) 902-3413
- email: nixon@rossville-plumbing.com
Tell us the page and the problem. We’ll answer and, in the meantime, help by phone or email.
